This is the 10th Annual contest at beautiful Plum Island Airport. This is a unique venue since we are literally on the road to the beach, so spectators often are present. We love our spectators and community at Plum Island and they love to see the scale aerobatics and of course our jet events.
We are excited to offer the NOVICE class one day (Sat only) experience for those interested in trying IMAC. Contact MAC Contest CD - Steve Bakke with questions or post questions in comments.
There will be a pilot’s meeting each day at 8:30am with first flights at 9:00am. The usual plan is to fly 3 known rounds on Saturday. Then on Sunday, we’ll do one round of unknown sequence followed by another round of known sequence.
*Please PRE-REGISTER FOR THIS CONTEST EARLY AT THE IMAC WEBSITE. This really helps out CDs with planning. However, you can still register Friday the 5th or Saturday morning starting at 7:30am.
Primitive camping and RV parking (no hookups)
- Spectator parking in airport parking lot.
- Please respect designated spectator areas.
- This is an active airport. For safety only participants and escorted guests inside event areas.
