Niles Beach is located on East Main Street in Gloucester and is situated just before the entrance to Eastern Point. Parking is limited here but if you find a parking spot or a resident with a beach sticker, this is an easy access, great little family beach that is raked and kept very clean by the city. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer. It's location on the eastern shore of Gloucester harbor provides a safe 'harbored' swimming environment for kids. Niles Beach is also a perfect spot to see distant views of Boston, the outer shore of Gloucester Harbor, including the castles on the Magnolia shore.
