Wingmasters with Jim Parks present Eyes on Owls. Owls are not evil spirits, wise little philosophers or Walt Disney creations. Nor do they wing about carrying messages, despite the way they're depicted in the Harry Potter books. In fact, owls are probably more misunderstood than any other kind of bird. These are hunting birds, yet their sharp beaks and talons are partly hidden under feathers. Owl have more and softer feathers than other birds, and this unique plumage gives them a plump, rounded look.

Come on your own, with friends, or bring the whole family to the museum for a special week of programming. The museum has a number of activities and pop-up surprises planned for the week of April 17-23. Peabody Institute Library - Danvers invites kids to come play with Hexbugs! We'll create a maze and see if the mini robots can navigate it!

The Van Loan School at Endicott College is offering a FREE Early Childhood Education Series for educators and parents! Parents will benefit from this series by learning about some of the techniques used by ECE teachers, allowing for a better level of interaction with the people teaching their children. What you learn in these seminars will help you set the expectatations of the school with your child at home.  This three part webinar series will cover effective behavior strategies, home to school partnerships, and introducing your child to science as a catalyst to studying many subjects.
