Amesbury Youth Summer Recreation Programs

Amesbury Youth Recreation offers over 30 different summer programs to choose from for ages 3 and up. Please see summer brochure for extensive list [download link below]. There are plenty of programs to choose from for kids 4 and up.

The Pre-School Program offers a great opportunity to introduce your preschooler to group activities in a fun, easy-going atmosphere. The program will consist of arts and crafts, playground games, entertainers, skill building and more.

The Youth Park Program is back for another exciting summer of fun and games. Activities will include playground games, arts and crafts, sports, theme days, nature walks, group games and team building activities, talent show, yoga, pizza day, entertainers and more!

Every Wednesday (except 1st week) will be swimming at Lake Gardner for Frog group (ages 9-11). Every Thursday (except the first week) is a new field trip. This year’s trips may be to Summer tubing, Liquid Planet WaterPark, museums and more. Every Friday is entertainment which may include an Animal Show, Magician, Music and More!

The Teen Program is returning for another summer full of trips and special events. Like last year, every Monday and Wednesday is a FREE, new trip. The first week is “get to know you” week with fun activities planned at the school. The trips may consist of Canobie Lake Park, water park, boating, beaches, roller skating, Laser Quest and more. Fridays consist of special events and theme days (Tye
Dye, Karaoke, Water Day and much more).
