Abbot Public Library hosts a movie for teens during the Winter Holidays!  This showing features "Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves" (PG-13) starring Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, and Rege-Jean Page at 2:30 pm. Plot: A charming thief and a band of unlikely adventurers embark on an epic quest to retrieve a lost relic, but things go dangerously awry when they run afoul of the wrong people.

Join Hamilton-Wenham Recreation to enjoy the “Wolf" Full Moon with guided walks, treats, fire-pits and a craft for kids! Hike one or both routes, or just come out to enjoy a warm drink by the fire in the light of the full moon. Fire-pits, warm drinks, light snacks and a “wolf moon” inspired craft are included in the registration fee.

Hamilton-Wenham Public Library invites kids to a free showing of The Little Mermaid. Families of all ages are invited to the library to watch Disney's The Little Mermaid (PG, 135 min.) on our big screen! No registration needed. BYO snacks, drinks will be provided.

Come join our park interpreter for a story time and nature walk! Complete a small craft and explore the woods! Walks are gently paced and approximately 1 mile, though not accessible for strollers. Appropriate for families with children 3-5 years old. Meet at the Visitor Center.

The Annual Winter Lights on Cape Ann is a festive event celebrating the holiday season, running from late November through New Year's Day. Over 100 local businesses in Gloucester, Essex, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Rockport are participating by decorating their storefronts with lights and creative displays. A decorating contest is back by popular demand, allowing visitors to vote for their favorite decorated business in each of the five communities.

Our engaging and experienced staff will introduce families to local forests, beaches, and wetlands to make observations in nature, identify wildlife, and enjoy hands on science activities outdoors. Ipswich River Watershed Association hosts a fish printing craft session during Ipswich Evergreen. Participants will be repurposing real fish (shad, originally used for scientific research) and making beautiful and unique prints which can be used for gifts, decorations, cards, or anything your heart desires!

Cape Ann Art Haven has a great selection of art focused morning workshops during Winter Vacation for kids on break!  Kids can take part in morning sessions, afternoon sessions or stay for a full day!
