Craft time with Mrs. Green is a free children's event that is open to the community. It takes place at 11am with open drop-in welcome until 11:45 and again at 3:30 with open drop in welcome until 4:30.
Roller Palace, a year-round roller skating rink located in Beverly, MA, is open for all age roller skating on Wednesday afternoons. Skating is one of the best forms of exercise and Roller Palace is a fun place for kids to work off some energy and have a great time in the process.

The Trustees of Reservations invites you to bring the family for a celebration of spring’s arrival at Long Hill and Sedgwick Gardens. There's carpets of bulbs in bloom, aself-guided daffodil walk, a craft in the Children’s Garden, and for the third year, guided tours of the mansion, free refreshments and people can Pick-Their-Own daffodil bouquet at the PYO Flower Fields. The Gloucester Pride Stride is an annual fundraiser walk that helps the non-profits organizations around Cape Ann. Walkers collect sponsorships for their favorite organization, then walk the 5 mile route through downtown Gloucester starting and ending at Stage Fort Park. Since 1987, this annual event has entertained guests with music, 100+ craft and fiber artists, demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, and historic re-enactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate. People often tell us that spring doesn't begin until the Sheepshearing Festival! According to Director of Farm and Landscape Operations, Scott Clarke, "We're bringing back our visitors' Festival favorites, like seeing traditional shearing techniques and dog herding demonstrations, and simply enjoying a great time outdoors with family and friends."
Healthy Kids Day is the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families. This year marks 30 Years of Celebrating Healthy Kids at the Y—that’s 30 years of highlighting how the Y helps build healthy, resilient kids through physical activity, nutritious foods, learning opportunities and more. The day-long event is celebrated by more than 1.2 million participants nationwide. YMCAs across the country host free community events aimed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months.
