Second Fridays at MIT: Nautical Night

Get a jump start on your weekend with the Second Friday Program at the MIT Museum!  Second Friday Programs are FREE and are oriented for open exploration with opportunities to attend performances, demonstrations, and lectures through out the museum galleries.

March 2012's Second Friday is a celebration of MIT and the sea at MIT Museum's third annual Nautical Night. Activities and demonstrations abound as you chart your course through MIT's rich history of ocean science, technology and engineering. Featuring presentations, demonstrations and activities from MIT Sea Grant and others.

MIT Sea Grant staff will bring hands-on activities such as our small Remotely Operated Vechilce (ROV), known as Sea Perch, and other exhibits from the Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) Laboratory.
