Nature Tales: Fall Harvest

Join the mice of Brambly Hedge as they scramble to get ready for winter!

Join us as we share a children's nature story before we explore the woods, fields, and wetlands of the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.  This month we'll focus on the secrets of salamanders.

Today: We will read Autumn Story (Brambly Hedge) by Jill Barklem and learn that fall is a busy time for animals that are preparing for winter. It is also a time when trees and shrubs are filled with nuts and berries. We will participate in a harvest hunt and create a group collage.
