Visit Massachusetts for MFA Playdates North Shore Baby, Children and Families

On the first and third Monday of each month, bring your toddler to enjoy story time and looking activities in the galleries, followed by art making. Each month focuses on a specific theme. Recommended for children ages 4 and younger with adults.

Even though they don’t know the artists, toddlers and preschoolers who visit the MFA are just as enamored by the art as adults. There is so much to see and observe, so start them young!

Be sure to visit the galleries and listen to stories about interesting places and their animals. Participate in a family-friendly activity designed specially for you and your child to enjoy together. Discover the artwork that surrounds you with a short tour that will fascinate and inspire! After the program bring a lunch, or choose from our kid-friendly options in the Courtyard Cafe.

Meet at the Sharf Visitor Center. This program is for accompanied children 4 and younger. No registration required.
