Cape Ann Symphony Music Director and Conductor Yoichi Udagawa looks forward to the totally Mozart program,
“Mozart is considered one of the greatest composers ever. His music is pure, balanced, expressive, light, intellectual, emotional, balanced – perfect. A Most Mozartian Mother’s Day Concert features three masterpieces: the energetic Overture to the Marriage of Figaro, the exotic and powerful Violin Concerto No. 5 played by the incredible Tessa Lark, and Mozart’s final symphony – Symphony No. 41 nicknamed the “Jupiter“. Mozart put all of his craft and genius into his final work, and in a remarkable section at the end, combines 5 themes simultaneously in a joyful explosion."
