Military History Day

Kids and adults alike will learn a lot about military history at Wenham Museum

Celebrate the service of American veterans in a fun--yet realistic--look at historic military life with veterans and re-enactors from Civil War to World War II, Share the Music strolling singers and a display of letters penned by Civil War and WWII soldiers.

Listen to stories of D-Day on Omaha Beach with WWII veteran Morely Piper at 11 am. Explore artifacts and climb inside antique vehicles of America's military past and discover the timeless tradition of model ship building in a display of American Model Ships of War, Civil War to Today in Anchors Aweigh: Model Ship Display on exhibit in the museum lobby.

We will be collecting used cell phones in  support of today's military.
