Gloucester's 54th Annual Sidewalk Bazaar

The Gloucester Sidewalk Bazaar brings together more than 5000 visitors to celebrate downtown Gloucester. This annual summer tradition, now in its 54th year, is a great time to shop from more than 40 artists and crafts-people, 40 merchants and restaurants, and many local nonprofits.

The Bazaar offers a long line of local entertainment acts, from singer and other musicians to dance performances from local studios, a Tae Kwon Do demonstration, and puppet shows. Local nonprofit organizations also set up on Main Street as well, to get out the word about their organizations and their causes.

Sidewalk Bazaar Schedule:

Daily 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.

• Inflatables by Primetime Party Zone in the Blackburn parking lot 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
• Face Painting various locations along Main Street 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Roaming Railroad, starts in the West End. 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
• Puppet Shows by North Shore Bible Church and Faith Christian School.

Thursday 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.

• Twisted Magic juggling, magic and balloon creations.
• Performances all along Main Street 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
• Art Activities, by Cape Ann Art Haven 1 p.m.
• Performance by Dawn's School of Dance (Intersection of Hancock & Main Street) 1 p.m.
• Park at Main & Porter Streets; musical entertainment. 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
