Crane Beach Sand Sculpture Competition

The Crane Beach Sandblast is an annual family event where participation is encouraged but not required!  Build a sand sculpture or just come to view the fabulous creations sculpted from the sands of Crane's Beach.

Competition categories include: Kid, Teen, Family, Adult, Corporate/Organization, and Master Builder.

Prizes will be awarded to the best creations.

To add to the festivities, there will be fun, family activities on the beach front from 10am to 2pm including surf casting, surf digging, beach games, a nautical craft, and a scavenger hunt. Additionally, there will be live music and t-shirt sales.

The Crane Beach Sandblast will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011; rain date Sunday, August 7, 2011 7am to 3pm, at Crane Beach.

The registration fee is $7 per team plus regular beach admission. Sorry, no advance sales for spectators/beachgoers. Plan to come early in the day and pay regular beach admission. Please note that the Sandblast times have moved up 1 hour from past years due to the tide schedule.
