Information sessions are two hour long presentations and tours intended for parents, guardians, and other adults who would like to learn more about Acera.
You’ll hear from Courtney Dickinson, Founder and Director of the Acera School. Learn about our mission, approach, and profiles of students whose needs are met by Acera.
Ask questions and tour the school, hear about classroom themes and our individualized and project-based educational strategies. Stay after the session to engage and talk more about pedagogy, admissions process, and your child.
Acera enables young people to have a runway that fits their potential, developing the next generation of scientists, innovators, and leaders for our world.
We are creating a microcosm of what is possible for all schools—early and deep exposure to STEM topics and innovative fields, practice in creative and complex thinking and problem solving, and opportunities to learn that align with students’ passions and capacities.
In addition, Acera offers flexible ability groupings in math and reading, allowing students to work at their own pace and engage in learning and discussion with like-ability peers.
