25th Annual Ipswich Art Show & Sale and Ipswich Illuminated
The Ipswich Cultural Council's 25th Annual Ipswich Art Show and Sale will be a weekend long event showcasing works by Ipswich Artists - 100 Artists estimated to participate! Works on display will be of many mediums including sculpture, painting, photography, textiles, jewelry, wood art and pottery. Live Music will be part of the elegant reception Friday evening featuring chamber ensemble from the Orchestra on the Hill. Saturday evening enjoy a special silent auction, poetry readings, live music and a walk across the river after dark to observe the magic of Ipswich Illuminated. Sunday relax and enjoy Brunch on the River with live music and artist vendors.

• “Within These Walls” -- a living history play by J. T. Turner, site of Ipswich House, 16 Elm/County St corner: curtain 2:30 & 6:30pm
• Ipswich Poetry Group and Friends,
11th annual poetry reading: 7:30-9:00pm
• Ipswich Illuminated: 7:00-10:00pm
A visual and interactive installation celebrating art, history and the Ipswich River. Includes live music at Saw Mill Point and Green Street Bridge by Orville Giddings and Jake Pardee Trio with Sam Ward and Joe Cardoza. Ongoing launch of “Jessie’s Floating Wish Lanterns.”
