The Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival presents traditional American and English folk music. Since the autumn of 2000, Portsmouth has celebrated the local and national heritage of seafaring and maritime trades by taking nautical songs and music to the restaurants, pubs, cafés, churches and streets of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The festival is held on the last weekend in September, with free events both Saturday and Sunday.
All Ages: For our Open Sings, PMFF uses three pub venues that are also full-service restaurants, suitable for all ages. So feel free to bring your singing and non-singing kids along!
