Come to the Rowley Town Common for an afternoon of family fun! Admission to the event is FREE with a non-perishable donation to the Rowley Food Pantry, which will be collected at event check-in. Planned Activities include: Pumpkin Bowling, Corn Hole, Basket Ball shoot out, Skee Ball, Dunking Booth, Football Toss, Pony Rides and many more fun games and activities for the whole family. Food Trucks will be on site as well as carnival concessions! Hosted by the Pine Grove PTA.
Come to the Rowley Town Common to enjoy a celebration of farms and farming. In addition to the the famers market, there will be working antique tractors will be on display for judging. Enjoy a live music performance at the common's Gazebo by the Then Again Band from 10 am - noon. Come check out the tractors, buy some great fresh produce, learn some Rowley History, support the local boy scouts who will be running a hot dog stand!
The North Shore of Massachusetts has some of the most fertile soil in the United States and the farms of the region produce wonderful produce and other foods that you can buy directly at the farm, or it comes to you via a local Farmer's Market. Farmer's markets aren't just a place to get your favorite local seasonal foods, it s a community! The markets vary from town to town, and in addtion to the farm goods, you'll enjoy live music, craft and other vendors, and some even have activities to keep the kids busy while you shop!
The Rowley Farmers Market is an open air market held on Sundays on the Rowley Town Common. There's always a great selection of fresh local produce, food stuffs and locally hand-made goods. Come pick up some great locally grown food, freshly baked bread by Faith Anne's Unique bread, specialty teas and herbals by Dawn's Herbal, locally made yarn from Spin a Yarn Farms, locally made maple syrup and honey from local bee keepers.
The Rowley Board of Selectmen and VFW Post 5707 will host a ceremony and parade observing Memorial Day starting at the VFW on Bradford Street. The parade will proceed along Bradford Street to Summer Street, past the Town Common and onto Main Street. Ceremonies will be held at both the cemetery and at the Civil War Memorial on the Town Common.

Owls are just beginning to nest at this time of year, and we're going out to Rough Meadows to find them! On our walk, we'll learn about the superpowers that owls use to survive the winter and raise their young. With some luck, we might stumble upon tracks, scat, or burrows -- evidence of other nocturnal animals.
Join Sawyer Free Library, the Boston Bruins and Cradles to Crayons in their goal to collect new pajamas for kids in need! The Boston Bruinshost their 12th Annual PJ Drive from February 1 - March 15. The drive will benefit Cradles for Crayons and DCF Wonderfund, two non-profits that ensure positive living conditions for children.
Get into the Christmas spirit at the First Congregational Church of Rowley’s Olde Tyme Country Fair on Saturday, November 18th! This old-fashioned church fair will feature Christmas handcrafts,holiday decorations, plants, baked goods, coffee and doughnuts, cabot cheese and Zeke’s Country Store books, attic treasures (yard sale), raffle table, silent auction, and more. A home style lunch will be served at 11 am to 1 pm where Santa will make his special appearance. Following the fair, there will be a spaghetti supper running from 5-7 pm. Don’t miss out on this Rowley Holiday Tradition!
Join us after school for pumpkin decorating! We will provide all of the supplies you need to turn your pumpkin into a marvelous work of art! We will not be carving and we ask that you please BRING YOUR OWN PUMPKIN. Designed for children of all ages and no registration necessary.
