A major Centennial celebration that will kick off the Centennial year of events is the Food Truck Festival. Brooksby Farm has invited food truck vendors from across New England to commence the celebration with great food, entertainment for children and more!
The staff at the McVann-O'Keefe Skating Rink in Peabody is proud to host a Halloween-themed event full of fun for kids of all ages. Do the Monster Mash on Sunday, October 30th, 2016 from 2:10 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. Be sure to wear your best costume as prizes will be awarded. Enjoy fun with activities like face-painting & skating to festive Halloween music, and of course, candy.
Get your young hockey or figure skater off to a great start and sign up today for the next learn to skate session at the Peabody Rink - the McVann-O'Keefe Memorial Skating Rink. Adult classes are available too. Learn to skate lessons for all ages and abilities offered at the newly renovated facility.
Several sessions are offered so that the skaters have an opportunity to progress through many skating levels while strengthening their skills.
LEGO Store North Shore Shopping Center Peabody MA hosts a monthly LEGO club meeting. The theme this month is Lego Friends! Take part in this unique opportunity to meet and build with other fans of LEGO Friends! Enjoy an exclusive LEGO build that you can take home for free. Children with special needs and their families are invited to a special photo session with Caring Bunny in an environment set up to support the sensory, physical and other developmental needs of children with all abilities. Many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include (specific elements or aesthetics may vary):
- Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.
- Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
- Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.
The photo session will take place in the Lower Level of the Nordstrom wing.
Northshore Mall is in the spring spirit, celebrating the season with the Easter Bunny himself who is now at the mall and is gearing up for a very egg-citing event taking place. Breakfast with the Easter Bunny on Saturday, April 12, 2014. 9:00 – 10:30a.m.
Northshore Mall and the Simon Kidgits Club will host Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! Kidgits can participate in various craft-making activities including decorate-your-own Easter bucket, raffle prizes and having breakfast with the Easter Bunny himself!
