All ages are welcome for two days of public buoy painting at Cape Ann Art Haven ! Bring your inner artist and paint a buoy for use as decoration on the Gloucester Lobster Trap Buoy Tree.  Buoys will be on display throughout the Holiday season, and then they'll be auctioned off in January at Art Haven's Annual Buoy Auction Fundraiser!

Winter Ice Skating Festival! Come see our skaters perform! From our adorably young skaters to our amazing senior club skaters!! The show is free, there will also be free hot cocoa and a bake sale. The show is 11am to 12pm; arts & crafts & used skate sale from 12pm to 1pm and then a family open skate from 1pm to 2pm. The open skate is only $5 per family!! Come enjoy the day with yours!

Everybody is invited to enter the Gingerbread Contest for the Middle Street Walk in Gloucester this year! Groups and individuals are encouraged to get creative and come up with entries that can take any shape.  All entries will be judged during the Middle Street walk with winners being announced at 1pm in Gloucester City Hall.

Come to East Gloucester Elementary School for our traditional holiday with perennial favorite family activities, as well as some new ones! Looking for a gift? There will be plenty of hand made crafts by local vendors!  This is also a great opportunity for a visit with Santa and a photo op with Frosty the Snowman!

Students and parents are invited to Gloucester Community Arts Charter School to come see the School Facility, meet the educators, see a class and talk with parents of students! Gloucester Community Arts Charter School encourages kids to be curious, engaged and community aware.

The Sweetbay Swamp Quest is a clue-based treasure hunt through the swamp trails, discovering stories about our nearly "loved to death" Sweetbay Magnolia and to a Quest Treasure Box. Pre-registration required.

Join Cape Ann YMCA at Camp Spindrift for a great day including live music, games, crafts, raffles, delicous food, Apple & Pumpkin Archery, Giant Chess, Gaga, Volleyball, Campfire Cooking, S'mores, Balloon Animals, Face Painting and more! With dozens of food, craft and gift vendor booths; as well as local craft beer from Cape Ann Brewing you're sure to have a great time while we raise some funds for the children of the Y's Camp Spindrift in Gloucester.

Join the Cape Ann Museum for a FREE live performance of Maritime Music of the 19th Century - part of the Museum's Saturday Showcase series. Musical Pastimes, a duo comprised of multitalented musicians Dr. Susanne Powers and Larry Young will perform the music that was woven into the tapestry of 19th seafaring life. This experiential learning opportunity is full of music, humor, encourages audience participation, and creates a personal connection to the past through music!
