Creative Bookmaking with Jeannie Hunt - Sawyer Free Library in Gloucester Teens

Explore color, design, and the magic of geometry in a workshop presented by book artist, illustrator and educator Jeannie Hunt.

Free Family Concert: Jose Franch-Ballester

This concert also takes place as part of a three-day residency in the Gloucester and Rockport public schools. Free and open to the public. Tickets are not required and there are no advanced reservations. Seating is general admission and on a first-come, first-served basis. Limited availability.

Walk the Trails of Dogtown

This walk is sponsored by the Essex National Heritage Area. Join Mark Carlotto and Seania McCarthy as they lead us on an exploration of Dogtown! Seania, tour guide for Walk the Words (a tour offered daily of Dogtown and the Babson Word Rocks) and Mark, author of The Dogtown Guide, have led many walks into Dogtown.

Eastern Point Day School will host an Open Class Day for families interested in letting their children experience the school first hand.  Meet the dedicated faculty and great students that make Eastern Point Day School a unique and enriching community Parents are invited to meet the headmaster and staff to learn more about our exciting programs and curriculum. Prospective students are invited to tour the school and participate in classes.

Cape Ann Children and Families Leeny Tunes Concert

It's school vacation week and that means it's party time!!

This free event is open to the entire Cape Ann community. The fun starts at 5:30 with a pizza party and face painting, and kicks into high gear at 6:00 with a concert by Parents' Choice Award winner Leeny and her band The Eeny Meenys!
