NEAQ's Aqua Kids Family Days

Activities, stories and live animal presentations await at NEAQ's Aqua Kids Days

Come to New England Aquarium on Friday mornings where you and your children can hear stories, create art projects, see Live Animal Presentations and have underwater adventures! Meet in the Curious George Discovery Corner on the first floor of the Aquarium. Family Days are open to all Aquarium visitors, and no registration is required.

Historic Symphony Hall is transformed into a magical place for all ages as the Boston Pops perform the most beloved holiday music. Join together with the millions of other New Englanders and Bostonians to continue your family’s tradition or start a new one.

Blue Discoveries Family Day: Aqua Vets

Learn with the Family at New England Aquarium!

Come learn all about the veterinarians that care for marine creatures at the next New England Aquarium Blue Discoveries Family Day! Learn more about the blue planet through art, science and storytelling at the in the Blue Discoveries Program. Programs highlight Aquarium favorites as well as Aquarium hidden treasures. All activities are included with Aquarium admission. This is a drop in program for select Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. There will be opportunities to showcase environmental programs happening in schools or in local communities during a Blue Discoveries Family Day. This month's focus will be on Sea Turtles.

This world premiere production encompasses the beauty and magic of the traditional Nutcracker story with revised scenes and choreography by Mikko Nissinen. With 250 Boston Ballet School students participating in the production this is a holiday classic for the whole family.

In celebration of the opening of the new Arts of Korea Gallery and Korean Buddhist Paintings exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), the Museum is hosting Korea Foundation Day on Friday, November 16, from 3 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.

Activities include tours of the Arts of Korea Gallery in Korean and English, a talk by artist Kang Ik-Joong, and musical performances by the percussion group Gong Myoung. These programs are free with Museum admission and children 17 and younger are free.
