Come to the Marblehead Street Festival at Bank Square (intersection of Washington and Hopper Street). This festival is a fun tradition that's part of 4th of July celebrations! There will be something for everone including magic, street perfromers, live music, face painting, sidewalk chalk art, henna tattoos, fairy houses, juggling, hula hoops and more.
The Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk is one of the most whimsical events in the state. This is an enchanting opportunity to explore an (almost) real fairy garden. Please join us for at our fifth annual Fairy Gnome Discovery Walk, a whimsical afternoon here at Salisbury’s own Historic, Pettengill Farm (circa 1792) and take a walk through our lush gardens, enchanted forest, and our serene marsh; it’s an event like no other.
Join educators from Joppa Flats Education Center with your preschooler for an adventure to collect acorns, pine cones, lichen, bark, and moss at Newburyport's Mosely Woods! We'll use our imaginations to create woodland homes and creature friends with the natural materials we find. You'll go home with your fairyland dwellings and a new excitement for finding natural treasues and turning them into creative projects.
Are there fairies and gnomes at Ravenswood Park? Using only all natural materials found on the forest floor, kids can create your their own secret home. Elves, gnomes or fairies will love them! Even our littlest wildlife friends will enjoy checking out your wee secret home. Wear your faery frock and dance along the children's trail with wee secret homes!
