Meet Cinderella against the magical backdrop of Ruth Sanderson’s fairytale illustrations in the museum’s new exhibit, A Magical Journey Through Fairytales. Cinderella will read stories and sing songs with visitors. Fairytale or magical dress-up attire encouraged! Space for this program is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Join this book club for second graders if you love to read and talk about stories! Based on the Great Books format, but geared explicitly for young readers, group members will read a story in advance of each month's meeting and participate in a group discussion of the story.
Mother Goose on the Loose is a program for infants through 2-year-olds that helps babies and toddlers to begin to develop pre-literacy skills through a specially formatted curriculum of stories, songs, rhymes, finger plays and large-motor activities.
Enjoy the spirit of the season and take home the fragrance of the forest. We will read by Margaret Wise Brown. Then we will visit the forest to identify a variety of evergreens by their shape, needles, cones, and fragrance.

With craft activities, games, story times, and scavenger hunts to take with you on the trail, we have all you need to create a memorable nature adventure fit for the whole family. Activities can be found up on Holt Hill. Drop in anytime between 10am and 1pm Story Times at 10:30 and 12:30
Bring your toddler to enjoy story time and looking activities in the galleries, followed by art making. Tours leave on a rolling basis starting at 10:15 am. The last tour leaves at 10:55 am. Each month focuses on a specific theme, join us in October for “Fall on the Farm.” Recommended for children ages 4 and younger with adults. No registration required.
