Ukulele of Boston, The Friends of Cutler, and Cutler String Jam Presents Ukulele Melee 2017! The Ukulele Melee is a day of workshops, performances and ukulele fun! This year’s event will take place on June 10th at the Cutler School in Hamilton from 12 to 4:30 p.m. The headliners for 2017 will be featuring Jim and Liz Beloff. Tickets sold at the door. Parking is free. All proceeds are being donated to the Ukulele Kids Club.

The MarketStreet Rink is presented by Lahey Health and is one of the most sought after skating destinations in New England. With views of Reedy Meadow and neighbors such as J.Crew, Vineyard Vines, J.P. Licks, Roxy’s Grilled Cheese, lululemon athletica and FuGaKyu Japanese Cuisine. The rink is a classic 50 x 100 foot skating rink situated on The Green, the centerpiece of MarketStreet Lynnfield’s community events, performances and gatherings. It is illuminated by snowflake lights and features festive music. A 200-ton refrigeration unit ensures optimal ice temperature, even in warmer temperatures.
February vacation hours and rates for the rink’s final week of the season are as follows; guests can rent skates or bring their own. Pending availability, the rink can also be rented for private parties and events.

Come to Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a program for homeschool families. Whether attending the morning or afternoon session, families are invited to have lunch at the property. Students become archaeologists as they excavate a mock pit with actual tools of the trade and process (put together) reproduction artifacts in a field lab. Inside the museum, they explore building archaeology via trap doors. They analyze objects to learn about daily life at the farm over the last three hundred years.

Come and skate for a great cause with Rick Middleton, a former hockey player from the New York Rangers and the Boston Bruins. The event will be hosted by 7th grader, Griffin Bouchard, from Miles River Middle School. Enjoy an evening full of skating, raffles, and food with friends or family and help support Boston Children’s Hospital.
Come to Spencer Peirce Little Farm for a mid-winter open house and bonfire to celebrate the official purchase of the town of Newbury on January 13, 1701. As part of this community-wide event, tour the Spencer-Pierce-Little House, enjoy hot cider and donuts for sale in the visitor center, and then walk to the nearby town-sponsored bonfire fueled by Christmas trees in the growing fields of Tendercrop Farm!

Winter Ice Skating Festival! Come see our skaters perform! From our adorably young skaters to our amazing senior club skaters!! The show is free, there will also be free hot cocoa and a bake sale. The show is 11am to 12pm; arts & crafts & used skate sale from 12pm to 1pm and then a family open skate from 1pm to 2pm. The open skate is only $5 per family!! Come enjoy the day with yours!
Pingree School’s ice rink will be open to the public on December 19, 21, 27, and 28 from 1:30 - 3:30 pm. These dates will be open for recreational family skates with no pucks or hockey sticks allowed.
