Pirate Camp is a fun play where anything can happen!

Go down by the sea and cast off with Theater Workshop’s production of Camp Pirate...Anything Can Happen! The whole family can set sail with a ship full of wacky pirates for an on stage summer camp experience. The hilarity unfolds as the buccaneers once again set out on an adventure in search of their missing captain. Wise-cracking fish and a story-telling turtle help reveal the mystery of spell-casting mermaids, dancing witch-doctors, and juggling monkeys on Coconut Island. With dazzling costumes, high energy dances and show stopping surprises.... anything can happen!

Methuen Ballet Ensemble will present the tale of Peter Pan, the boy who refuses to grow up! Join Peter as he takes Wendy, John, and Michael Darling on the greatest adventure any siblings have ever had! Peter whisks the children off to Neverland where they meet the lost boys, Tinker Bell and Princess Tiger Lily. Together, they wage fierce battles against the evil Captain Hook and his band of pirates. Will Peter Pan return the Darling children safely to their home? Come to the Firehouse Center for the Arts to find out!

Eight area high schools perform one-act plays at the Ipswich Performing Arts Cen

This METG Drama Festival Preliminary Competition will be held at the Ipswich Performing Arts Center om March 2, 2013!. Eight local schools will perform one act plays in a competetion to go on to the next round in the statewide drama festival. The Massachusetts High School Festival is the METG’s premier event. The festival includes 115 one-act plays produced by member high schools.

The circus-themed, Cyrano de Bergerac inspired story lin follows the adventures of Bobo the clown, a poet and romantic whose station in life is reason for his self-doubt. He finds himself involved in a love triangle and is taken advantage of by the handsome and shallow Ring Master who intimidates Bobo into writing love letters to the beautiful Priscilla, the high wire aerialist, on behalf of the Ring Master.
