Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat will be visiting the Children's Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading via the Books Alive program. At this Books Alive event, museum staff will be reading Curious George stories by Margret and Hans “H.A.” Rey throughout the day. The friendly costumed monkey character, accompanied by the Man with the Yellow Hat, will be popping in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five, and pose for photos.
There is no better way to ring in the New Year with family and friends of all ages than at the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire’s annual New Year’s Eve Celebration. The museum is open to the public on December 31st from 10 am – 3 pm as we create festive party hats, tie our wishes for the new year to balloons and host “countdowns to midnight” at 11 am, 12:30 pm and 2 pm.

The Danvers Recreation Department is hosting a New Year's Eve Bash for kids at the Roller Palace in Beverly. In addition to roller skating, there's lot of fun in the lineup with activities like: facepainting, a coloring station, a raffle, stickers, hokey pokey and a countdown to New Year's. Kids of all ages are invited, but children younger than 6 must be accompanied by a caregiver. Kids older than 6 will be supervised by Danvers Rec Department Staff. The snack bar will be open for this event.
