Celebrate Mom (and celebrity animal moms!) at the Franklin Park Zoo and the Stone Zoo on Sunday, May 13 with FREE ADMISSION for all mothers throughout the day. Both Zoos will also be honoring their celebrity animal moms including white-cheeked gibbon Iggy and her eight-month-old offspring Paddy! Bring Mom along with the entire family to Stone Zoo for a memorable day with the unforgettable animals that call the Zoos home.

Anna Jaques Hospital invites you to stop by their booth at the Newburyport Farmers Market on Mother's Day to buy mom a brick!  Not a brick from Home Depot - an engraved legacy brick for their new walkways soon to be unveiled.  It's a great way to memorialize mom, especially if mom gave birth there! 

Mother's Day is a special day for children to take the time to say thank you to Mom. Families get together and celebrate, laugh, have fun and enjoy each others company. The Hawthorne Hotel makes it an especially nice get together with the sumptuous brunch service they offer for Mother's Day. The brunch, menu is abundant with a larger variety of offerings and caters to all types of guests.

A special Mother's Day performance celebrating the strength of a mother’s love. For those who love a mom, are a mom, or miss a mom, you'll especially enjoy this musical celebration, honoring the mothers of our homes and hearts.

A reception and silent auction with light refreshments will take place prior to the show.
Dr. Ron DePinho, Director of the Belfer Institute at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, will share how your donations support the amazing work being done by his unique research team.
A musical performance by ordinary people on an extraordinary mission will follow the reception. This event is sponsored by the Conquer Cancer Coalition of Massachusetts, in collaboration with Voices of Hope, as a benefit for cancer research.
