Come for one or all four days with highlights that include Santa's arrival by lobster boat, the town tree lighting ceremony, Holiday shopping preview parties, the Christmas Walk Parade, 'Holidays are Grand' live performances, a great raffle with great prizes, and all kinds of family events and activities sponsored by local merchants and organizations!
In celebration of the holidays, we’re hosting a children’s Christmas party with Santa. Families will enjoy interactive songs and music from children’s entertainer Jeannie Mack, a yummy edible craft, holiday refreshments, and, of course, a visit with Santa, who will have a small gift for every child. Advance reservations required.

Come see over 100 locally and professionally made gingerbread creations on display at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead, MA during this year's Marblehead Christmas Walk. Community members, businesses, and families are building and donating dozens of gingerbread houses, boats and local buildings that will be on display and available for raffle throughout the weekend. Gather your family and friends and come over to the Firehouse for a little old-fashioned Holiday Sing-Along to kick off your Holidays with music! The Youth Choir from the Immaculate Conception Church (Newburyport), directed by Donna Postle, will be there to lead everyone in singing some well-loved carols, with music provided by John Metrano on piano. Our favorite elf, Terry Blanchard, will once again read “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” while wearing his famous stocking cap knit exclusively for this annual presentation by the North Pole’s very talented Mrs. Elf.
Gloucester's Holiday Parade has been a is a great tradition to kick off the holidays! Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle! Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Methuen Ballet Ensemble, an established local ballet company under the artistic direction of Vanessa Rae Voter, has staged The Nutcracker for over twenty-five years.

The company is thrilled to announce that world renowned ballet dancer and choreographer Sabi Varga will be joining this year's production. It is not to be missed! In addition to dancing in the production, Mr. Varga will be tapping into his creative and artistic talents as guest choreographer for select scenes!
A Newburyport tradition! As the holiday season approaches, Santa & Mrs. Claus arrive in the most fitting way for this seaport town... by US Coast Guard boat! Welcome Santa on the Sunday after Thanksgiving as he and Mrs. Claus dock at the boardwalk and begin to parade through downtown Newburyport, then gather in Market Square for the annual Christmas tree lighting and carols starting around 4pm.
Santa arrives on the Essex River by boat and walks up to the shipyard with a cast of toyland characters. Children can sit on Santa's lap and review their holiday "wish list", while adults enjoy wonderful hot clam chowder from Woodman's. Carols by 'Sound Waves' provide great entertainment for the evening! Hot chocolate and Munchkins provided by Dunkin Donuts!
