Winter is in the air and the animals of the farm and woods have prepared themselves for winter. Can we find their signs, like homes, tracks, and caches of food? What happens in winter around the farm? We invite little farmers to experience life at the farm in winter. Through farm “chores,” age-appropriate hands-on activities, stories, and visits with our barnyard animals, little farmers will become fully immersed in what life is like for a farmer.

Beverly Hospital is having a bootcamp for first time fathers! If you are a first-time father, prepare yourself for the joys and challenges of fatherhood. In this class you’ll hear from other dads; ask questions and more.  This class meets from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM and is designed for fathers only. Virtual Option available as well.

Come together at Endicott College for the North Shore Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday, October 17th! This year's walk will feature something new to enjoy: a Halloween theme! Dust off your witch hats and pumpkin pails, we'll have everything from trick or treating and costume contests to festive games and activities! There will be something for everyone in the family.

Latest Update is that this Event has been canceled for 2022! What could be better than enjoying a lobster dinner at the beach with your family while helping a worthy cause? Rockport Rotary's Lobsterfest is a unique outdoor dining event held each summer at the American Legion Hall and bandstand in Rockport (on Beach Street, opposite Back Beach). Proceeds benefit local community service projects and the club's scholarship fund.
