The annual Newburyport ArtWalk takes place in historic downtown Newburyport and includes painting and jewelry demonstrations, artist question and answer sessions, live music, food and drink as well as other activities for the whole family.

Peabody Essex Museum hosts a weekend festival full of fun events and activities to celebrate their exhibit  'Hats: An Anthology by Stephen Jones'. Using many types of artistic expression, families can explore how costumes and hats have affected our culture. By combining storytelling, craft activities, live performances, film and artist demonstrations, Peabody Essex Museum presents an experience that nurtures imagination!

Essex National Heritage Area sites will offer nearly 200 free family fun events over the weekends of September 21-23 and September 28-30 for the 11th annual celebration of TRAILS & SAILS. Participants can hike, bike, paddle, stroll or sail through the region and Essex National Heritage Area will provide a passport to FREE fun and adventure.

Come to the Orchard and meet Johnny Appleseed!  Yes, he will be telling his story and spreading apple seeds!  (We think he'll even pose for a picture or two!)  In addition to meeting Johnny Appleseed, all things apple will be in the farm stand. Pick your own apples to take home!

The Life is Good Festival in Canton this September has a lot of great acts performing over all weekend long, but did you know they've gone out of their way to provide special entertainment for the kids? For both days of the festival your kids will get a chance to see their favorite kid bands perform live, in addition to a lot of fun family activities that makes this festival a truly family-friendly event! 

Head to North Andover to the 2nd Annual Fall Festival sponsored by the North Andover Merchants Association held on the grounds of the Knights of Columbus at 505 Sutton Street, North Andover. This event is a combination of a merchant market and a fun filled day of activities for kids.
