Revere Beach Kite Festival

The Annual Revere Beach Kite Festival is a great excuse to hit the beach!

On Sunday, May 19th, we will host our 8th Annual Kite Festival on Revere Beach. This is our way of kicking off beach season with fun for the whole family! Children will have the opportunity to build, decorate, and fly their kites. The event also features professional kite flyers, live music, and other family-friendly activities! This event brings in people of all ages to enjoy a beautiful Spring day on the beach and have family fun! We are excited to be back on the beach for the season and want you to join us.

Annual Sheepshearing Festival

Gore Place Sheep Shearing Festival Waltham MA for North Shore Children Families

Since 1987, this annual event has entertained guests with music, 100+ craft and fiber artists, demonstrations of traditional shearing and herding dogs, and historic re-enactors on the beautiful grounds of this historic, 50-acre estate. People often tell us that spring doesn't begin until the Sheepshearing Festival! According to Director of Farm and Landscape Operations, Scott Clarke, "We're bringing back our visitors' Festival favorites, like seeing traditional shearing techniques and dog herding demonstrations, and simply enjoying a great time outdoors with family and friends."

Join us for the 39th Annual Essex ClamFest and Arts & Crafts Festival, from 11 am to 4 pm in Shepard Memorial Park in Essex. Although the highlight of the day is the Chowder Tasting Competition (Come taste Cape Ann’s finest chowders from Noon to 1 pm and vote for your favorite!) there is also a great variety of family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts vendors, live entertainment, live reptile and kid's games, live Police K-9 Demo (11am) and plenty of food vendors on-site!

The Yankee Homecoming Parade is a traditional New England parade featuring bands and all kinds of floats in Newburyport, Massachusetts.

The Annual Yankee Homecoming parade is a Traditional New England Parade that is sure to please! There will be a variety of entertaining floats and marchers.  Yankee Homecoming and the people of Newburyport all come together to watch a parade on the first Sunday in August. Olde Ipswich Days brings art, crafts, food and music to the S. Village Green in Ipswich Massachusetts!

On the last weekend of July, artisans and fine craftsfolk from all over New England will show and sell their work on the South Village Green in Ipswich, MA. Olde Ipswich Days is a favorite for all to meet and greet old friends and new, browse the booths and do some early holiday shopping, or make some timely indulgences. The fair features the works of more than 60 artists and crafters. Look for sterling, gold, or beaded jewelry, unusual photography, woodwork, knitted textiles, dried flowers and grapevines, cut or stained glass, tapestry, a variety of pottery, and paintings in all mediums, toys, and handmade soaps, and hot dogs and refreshments.
