Ryal Side is the best neighborhood in this city, let’s do our part to make it the most beautiful! Please bring your work gloves, rakes, brooms, shovels, etc.
Join the Trustess of Reservations on Earth Day at Crane Beach in Ipswich Massachsuetts for their Annual Earth Day beach cleanup! The harsh winter ocean can deliver tons of marine debris to our shores, and before shorebird season gets into full swing we aim to sweep the beach of trash. Due to the high interest we usually get for this event, we ask that people register in advance.
Join the Cape Ann Maritime Partnership for a fall clean up of Good Harbor Beach from 9-11am on Saturday, October 14th! Bags will be provided, please bring work gloves. Afterwards, swing by Pier 23 Kitchen for generous lunch deals for all volunteers.
Come help clean the beach at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and Plum Island! This is a community effort to help clean up the Refuge beach and raise awareness about beach litter. Anyone wanting to participate should show up at Lot 1 between 9 am and 3 pm. The event will be held rain or shine. Participants should wear warm clothes, sturdy shoes, and bring work or rubber gloves. Trash bags are provided. Litter grabbers are available in limited quantities.
The Trustees seek volunteers to help collect and remove marine debris and litter from the beachfront. Coffee, trash bags, gloves, instructions, and beautiful scenery will be provided. Friends and families are welcome, but please no dogs. Participants will meet in the main parking lot at the middle board walk.

All are invited to the Northeastern University Marine Science Center Annual Open House! You'll learn from researchers about marine habitats, meet some of creatures living there and explore the habitat in real time. In addition to some faithful standards such as touch tanks and tours of East Point, the Center will be showcasing the work and talent of its research labs and academic programs. With a half dozen new faculty members in the past year, there’s a lot more to explore!
Beverly Main Streets encourages volunteers to meet at the Beverly Common at 9am for the kickoff, sweep downtown till noon and return to Common for lunch. Help us sweep away the dust of winter and spruce up for spring! This is a great event for families, student groups, sports teams, Scouts and anyone else who wants to do a little community service. Lunch will be provided by Paul Guanci and Beverly Spring Clean Sweeps.
