New parents (of babies 0-12 months old) and expectant parents are invited join to us for our first Community Baby Shower! Hear about local family resources, participate in an introductory baby story time, create a keepsake for your baby, and meet new families. We hope to see you there! Baby Boot Camp stroller-based fitness classes are designed specifically to help moms get fit. It takes the place of a personal trainer at a time in your life when you need one more than ever. Classes combine strength-training exercises with cardiovascular drills. Pilates, yoga and abdominal exercises help improve core strength. The stroller, resistance tubes (and even your child!) are used as an integral part of the workout. Come try it - the first class is always FREE!
Please join Pathways for Children for the upcoming parent training! This training is great for first time parents as well as “seasoned” caregivers interested in learning Dr. Karp’s methods for soothing and calming babies. Participants receive a free video and swaddling blanket in addition to valuable resource information.
Pathways for Children offers an infant massage class for expectant parents and parents of new borns! This free class (2 sessions) is offered through the MA Department of Early Education & Care Coordinated Family & Community Engagement Grant and the generous donation of time & talent of Vickie Greenaway, LMT,CEIM of New Beginnings at Insideout Health & Wellness.
Bring the whole family for a fun, FREE workout at beautiful Lynch Park in Beverly, MA. Moms*, dads, siblings, and grandparents are all invited to check out what Baby Boot Camp has to offer. Starting promptly at 9:00 at the Cove Community Center on East Corning Street, class will involve cardiovascular drills and strength training (all modifiable for prenatal* or extra intensity) and will conclude with refreshments, giveaways, and class discounts. Children are encouraged to bring a push-toy or stroller and their favorite stuffed friend for a special pint-sized workout at the conclusion of class. Come for an hour or come for a few minutes, but don’t miss out!
