Brian Murphy is a self-taught artist who started Totally Wired Sculpture in 2002. His work can be seen as lighthearted line drawings in the medium of steel wire. The goal of each piece is to create a kinetic movement from the tension in the wire so that the figures seem to dance or sway on their own and appear enlivened! Come to this demonstration and learn how to make your own! No experience necessary an all supplies with be supplied. Please register at the library.

See the Museum through the eyes of a child with this animated family tour of paintings, sculpture and maritime objects. Learn to think and see like an artist, a fisherman or quarry worker. Created for children ages 3–12 with their caregivers. This 30-minute tour ends in the Activity Center for art projects and play. Free for CAM members or with Museum admission. Calling all LEGO lovers! Join us on Wednesday, April 17th during April Vacation for an exciting LEGO "Friendship Make & Take" event co-hosted by Essex Heritage and the National Park Service! Gavin Gardner, our special NPS instructor and local LEGO expert, is leading this family friendly activity where guests will have the chance to make and take home their very own "mini" Friendship. Guests are invited to come by any time between 10AM-12PM to build their Friendship and only those who wish to "make & take" are required to register.
