As a former children's librarian, Susie Lord has performed thousands of story times for children and adults. Many have asked if she would bottle her energy and label it for sale, because her story times are non-stop, shear craziness.

Zach Field Drum Studios offers leesons in percussion, and a venue for percusiionists to practice their craft. The studio has four drumset rooms and an ensemble room. Each drumset room is equipped with two complete drumsets, one for the teacher and one for the student. The drum rooms have computers in them that enables the teachers to access the music program, Rhapsody. Rhapsody is a web-based program that allows the teachers to access millions of artists and songs, instantly, www.rhapsody.com. The rooms are also equipped with an isolation headphone system that allows the teacher and the student to play along with songs and still hear the music over the volume of the drums.

Plum Island Pans is a steel drum ensemble from the North Shore, originating from Zach Field Drum Studios.  The group has exploded onto the scene as one of the few steel drum bands in the area.  Plum Island Pans covers a number of styles and genres of music including traditional steel drum music, reggae, jazz and billboard hits.

Keep an eye out for live performances by Leeny and Tamara in the northeast where they are based (Leeny in MA and Tamara in NY). “The thing that parents like most about our live shows is that the kids become a big part of the performance,” says Tamara. “We get the kids involved, asking questions and teaching them vocals right there to sing along.” Leeny adds, “It helps make the songs and the shows even more memorable and special for everyone. And the parents end up having as much fun as the kids!” Leeny and Tamara are also available for school and educational programs, and writing custom songs for special projects.
