Location:

Free group meeting twice a month for single dads to get support with parenting issues. It’s also a social networking opportunity, and allows fathers an opportunity to share with one another what works, and what doesn’t work in parenting.

For most meetings, there is no set agenda; the group will discuss the issues that are most important to members at that time. The discussions can vary from assistance in obtaining legal advice in relation to child custody, how to have a healthy relationship with the ex, homelessness prevention, working effectively with DSS and children’s teachers, cooking and nutrition, and planning group social activities for fathers and children.

Location:

$40 annual membership. 155+ member organization. Members enjoy an active community and frequent outings. Moms Night, held once a month is usually a social event, but might be a guest speaker or activity including demonstrations on health and fitness, cooking, making holiday topiaries, photography and educational discussions on child-related issues.

Each month, there is a scheduled children’s activity such as apple picking, Curious Creatures, dancing, ice-skating, bowling, and an annual Trick-or-Treating parade through Beverly Farms.

Bi-weekly play groups held at Lynch Park are great ways to introduce children to new friends in the community.

Beverly Mother's Club offers to support program for new moms - when a new baby arrives home, fellow members will deliver two meals to help during busy first weeks. The club will also donate a book in the baby’s name to the Robin’s Room at the Beverly Farms Library.

Annual membership includes access to playgroups, club sponsored events for kids and families, moms' night out events, and philanthropic events.
