Spend Afternoons at Acera STEAM Learning Lab
Sign up today and spend afternoons at Acera STEAM Learning Lab. Every day of the week, Monday through Friday, we run a variety of STEAM afternoon programs. Classes  are open to all ages unless otherwise noted, and meet once a week, from 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., for 11-12 weeks (unless there is a holiday.) We divide the school year into trimesters, so students enroll in a particular enrichment program for one trimester at a time. Fall:  September 5 – November 21, 2017 Winter:  November 28, 2017 – March 9, 2018 Spring:  March 12, 2018 – June 8, 2018 Students will enjoy exploring many programs including Science Exploration, Woodshop & Engineering, Hands-On Robotics, Debate Club, Games & Outdoor Adventures and many more to chose from. Acera offers a program for every interest.

Haul the sails and head out on an adventure of a life time!  Maritime Gloucester and the Schooner Ardelle join forces to offer the ever-popular Coastal Explorers summer program! During this week-long program, participants will be part of the crew on the Schooner Ardelle on daily voyages to ports and islands along the North Shore in search of adventure and excitement.

Lahey Health hosts the Third Annual Teddy Bear Clinic and Ice Cream Social As part of the Danvers Family Festival.  bring your favorite stuffed animals to a Teddy Bear Clinic at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers. The bears and other stuffed animals will explore health care experiences, providing children an opportunity to play doctor and learn about healthy habits from clinicians at Lahey Outpatient Center, Danvers. Does your child’s teddy bear or favorite snuggly toy need a check-up? No teddy bear? Don’t worry! The first 100 “doctors” will get a brand new teddy bear for participating.

Brian Doser brings music to the childrens' library at the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers Massachusetts
Kids are invited to the children's garden at the Peabody Institute Library - Danvers children's garden for a fun show featuring the Music Man - Brian Doser! Brian performs nothing but straight ahead music to get your child up and dancing. These classic songs were inspired by time honored tunes sung to him by his grandmother years ago. Be careful, parents may find themselves singing along and joining in the fun!

Endicott Park Day is a true family outing, with activities and events for people of all ages starting at 11:00. From the Doll Carriage Parade to face painting & temporary tattoos, and other kid’s activities, demonstrations, and rides. There is sure to be something for everyone. Local businesses and crafts-people will have booths. And bring an appetite, as a wide variety of food is available from fried dough to Boy Scout Troop 155’s grill.  *(for a nominal fee).  The Parent / Child Cookie Baking contest will be in Carriage House Conference Room, and the Entertainment will be in the Carriage House. All day rides for only $5.00
