Ipswich Greek Festival & Clambake 2017
One of the longest running traditions in Greater Boston, MA and the North Shore area, the Greek Festival and Clambake has been a wonderful tradition for over 75 years. Learn about sea birds while whale watching aboard the Prince of Whales!
Have a wonderful time watching for whales and seabirds on a trip with naturalists from Joppa Flats Education Center out of Gloucester aboard the Privateer IV. Aside from marine mammals, we will look for storm-petrels, gannets, jaegers, terns, gulls, and phalaropes. Most trips will head to the productive Stellwagen Bank.

The Gloucester Area Astronomy Club invites you to their monthly meeting to discover the wonder of the night sky on Cape Ann!  There will still be a lot of astronomy going on! Stargazing will usually foolow the monthly meeting, which usually includes an astronomy presentation, and sometimes a special guest.  There is plenty of free parking, no dues or fees, and all are welcome. No special knowledge is required to have a great time.

The Highland Street Foundation invites Massachusetts residents and tourists to visit designated cultural attractions every Friday this summer with free admission. 10 weeks between June 2+ and August 31 during which admission will be waived at 100 different museums and attractions across the state. Meet at Frye Pond Beach - Fish, frogs, snakes, and salamanders, let’s discover what lives in our tranquil New England ponds!  Nets and buckets are provided.  This activity can be wet and muddy. Recommend bringing water, insect repellent, sun screen, binoculars and camera. Appropriate for all ages.

Pick Your Own Bouquet at the Trustees of Reservations Stevens-Coolidge Place
The public is invited to cut your own flowers in the cutting garden (only). In addition to pick-your-own standards like zinnias, dahlias and rudbeckia, visitors will find new varieties to add pop and flair to their bouquets. The garden is fun for all ages and there is always something new to learn! Please note there is a fee to cut flowers and picking is only available at the Cutting Garden during PYO hours.
