Cooking Through Grief: A North Shore Event for Grieving Kids and Teens
A child life specialist from Care Dimensions, the largest provider of hospice, palliative care and grief-support services in Massachusetts is hosting a group cooking event for kids and teens (13-18) who have lost someone in their lives.  The group will have fun cooking up tasty treats while meeting new friends. Who: Any local youth or teen (13-18) who has lost someone in their lives. Fee: No cost. Our grief support programs are funded through our generous donors

Learn to Skate with the Peabody Skating Club at Peabody Skating Rink
The McVann-O'Keefe Skating Rink in Peabody is open for Public Skating weekdays from 10-11:45 am, Saturday's at 2 pm, and Sundays at 2:10 pm. Call today to ask about the Learn to Skate program at with the Peabody Skating Club. The ice is perfect. The Halloween and Christmas parties are a blast, and we always have a ton of fun at public skate and teen night. The rink is superbly maintained; it's very clean, and the staff are super friendly and helpful.

Teen Athletes and Students
Yoga for Teen Athletes and Students - a four week series with Erin McKay to support core strength, balance, and flexibility. This four week series is perfect for the teen who is in between fall and winter sports or for the teen who is looking to add a new component to his or her workout. Drop in to any of the four classes, or sign up in advance for all four weeks.
Youth Hockey, Cape Ann Youth Hockey, Gloucester Rink
Boys and girls from the ages 3-16 can learn to skate and develop hockey skills in Cape Ann Youth Hockey's various programs. Cape Ann Learn-to-Skate program is held at Gloucester's Talbot Rink and provides crates for the kids learning to skate for the first time. Kids will be amazed at how quickly they learn balance, turns, and the skills they acquire to raise themselves up after a fall. Coaches are there to support, care, and teach your children to skate. The rink is divided into three sections and as children progress, they begin playing mini games, and are introduced to basic hockey skills.
