Registration is required for Bark and Read, a program that boost the confidence of young readers with Christine Christoforo and her dogs, Cayenne and Rue, who have been trained by Therapy Dogs International.  Registration is required for 15 time slots with the dog.  Stop by the Children's Room or call us at 978-412-8713 to sign up. This program is best for tentative readers and/or children who might be uncomfortable with dogs.

This month is Game Month at the library! Let's play! Various card and board games will be provided along with snacks and water. Feel free to bring in your favorite games for us to try out together. This event is free and for TEENS (6th through 12th grade) only. Registration is not required.

Outdoor Ice Skating and Warming Tent at MarketStreet Lynnfield
MarketStreet Lynnfield is pleased to announce the return of one of the North Shore’s most beloved winter traditions, The MarketStreet Rink sponsored by Lahey Health.  This special seasonal destination kicks off its sixth year. This year, the MarketStreet Rink will newly feature a Warming Tent, which will house skate rentals and ensure skaters and spectators stay toasty in even the chilliest of weather. The MarketStreet Rink will welcome guests all winter long, November through mid-February, and is located on The Green, the heart of MarketStreet’s community events and gatherings, near lululuemon, J.Crew and JP Licks.

Visit Plymouth Rock and the Plimoth Plantation for an experiential Thanksgiving day trip!
We are so close to Plymouth that it's worth a visit over the next few weeks so the kids can see and experience the history that they learn in school.  Check out Pilgrim Memorial State Park , home to the Mayflower II and the Plymouth Rock, then head down the road to Plimoth Plantation to experience pilgrim life as it was back in the 17th century. Plymouth is easy to get to from the North Shore, take 93 South to Route 3 South, you can't miss it!
