Join park staff from the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge to see and experience the refuge’s salt marsh than from the cockpit of your own kayak! Join a couple of refuge rangers for a 2.5 hour meander through the marsh and learn about some of its fascinating natural and cultural history.

For kids who enjoyed our school year “Ocean Explorers” program, this program is for you. Come and have fun on the Maritime Gloucester working waterfront. Program includes: aquarium activities, scavenger hunts, hauling lobster traps, conducting research, building stuff, waterfront visits, and getting on the water, piers and floats at Maritime Gloucester.  Available only to Gloucester students in grades 3rd through 5th.

Essex County Greenbelt will host their 3rd annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore!
Essex County Greenbelt Association will host the third annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore! Seasoned road cyclists, beginner bike enthusiasts, spectators, and volunteers are all invited to participate in the Tour de Greenbelt.  Two routes,  a half century (50 mile) and a shorter loop, show off some of Greenbelt’s finest conserved properties.
