Trick or Treating by hayride at Marini Farm in Ipswich is Safe and Fun!
Take a Hayride through our fields of wonder at Marini Farm in Ipswich. On every stop you will come across scenes of characters waiting to hand out Tricks and Treats. The hayrides will take place during the daylight hours.

Creative Salem and Phoenix School, Salem MA
Salem will be getting all sorts of adorable and spooky as Creative Salem and The Phoenix School, Salem, MA bring back the annual little monsters parade to Downtown Salem. The parade will start at Riley Plaza and will head up Washington St. to Lappin Park and then head down the Pedestrian Mall to the fountain stage where the kids will have a dance and costume party. At the stage, there will be kids music and performances by some character actors featuring popular costumed character personalities and more.

Kids and their families are invited to the Ipswich Museum for an afternoon of Halloween fun!  Join us in the courtyard of the Heard House for old fashioned games, scary stories, a haunted house, costume parade, and more!

We'll peek at the stars, learn about nocturnal animal adaptations, and see what kind of wildlife we can uncover. We'll cap off the evening with s'mores roasted over the firepit at Joppa Flats Education Center.

At sundown this Halloween weekend, Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary will be transformed into a magical forest with creatures that can talk! Take a guided walk along our Halloween trail, home to some interesting creatures that come out just for Halloween. Learn firsthand about the creatures of the night and some history and myths that surround this spooky holiday.

The staff at the McVann-O'Keefe Skating Rink in Peabody is proud to host a Halloween-themed event full of fun for kids of all ages. Do the Monster Mash on Sunday, October 29th, 2017 from 2:10 p.m. - 3:40 p.m. Be sure to wear your best costume as prizes will be awarded. Enjoy fun with activities like face-painting & skating to festive Halloween music, and of course, candy.

On this Friday before Thanksgiving, in the dark of the new moon, we’ll walk with tea lights (no open flames!) to illuminate our passage through the trails and along the rolling hills at the Crane Estate. While we walk, we’ll talk about the first Thanksgiving, and how giving thanks can make us appreciate all the good and wonder in our lives. You’ll be amazed at how fortunate you are when you stop taking things for granted! Come with an attitude of gratitude! Pre-registration is suggested.
